Settler's of Cataan is my favorite board game. And there are different rules and different expansion packs depending on how long you want it to take.

Yeah, it looks very interesting (and one you can play over and over). The only thing I am worried about is the price.

That's true. I got my copy at a yard sale. It looks like the basic model is running for about $50 on Amazon. The expansions will cost you, but you can play without them.
