So they'll talk about their depression, but when you open up and do the same they do that?

I am very sorry to tell you this, but it looks like they're not a very good friend. I want to give them the benefit of doubt and say they're just too immature to deal with the situation, but either way, I'd advice you refrain from sharing your feelings with them in the future (if not upright stop being their friend). Because either way, they're not the sort of person you can open up to.
