Last weekend I was incredibly depressed and my bf took me out for sushi and managed to at least partially lift my mood by diverting my thoughts by talking about happy early childhood memories.

I was really sweet of him.

I had an extremely crappy day at work yesterday. Today, one of my students rushes over to me with a bunch of weeds she'd picked from outside and said, "Teacher, I missed you so much! You looked sad yesterday, so I got these flowers to make you smile." Totally made my morning and helped me carry on today.
