Not really. There are ways to support those things without attending/otherwise making it about you, a dude, being upstanding and supporting women.

The guys in question aren't doing that, which makes them seem performative at best, skeezy at worst.

Why does just attending something mean a guy is making it about him? I could see if a guy shows up and is like, "hey everybody, look at me!" But if he's just there?

Also, how do you support something without giving any indication that you support it, since that's part of what you seem to not like? Are guys only allowed to, like, give anonymous donations?
