Here's a thought: I actually have faith in us as a generation, and those who will come after us. Sure, some of us might be lazy or lost or perpetually unemployed (but, haven't there always been people?) - but I see much more volunteering, community involvement, care about the environment etc etc than in my parents' generation.

Every generation so far had whined about the generation after them, and you know, I think we're going to be fine this time, too.
