Absolutely not. Why would I? I'd be getting paid less, and have fewer job opportunities. Yeah, I'm in debt (and if not for my scholarship I'd be in MASSIVE debt) but I would never have the job I have if I didn't, and I get a pretty good salary and great benefits.

Just in case your "why not" wasn't rhetorical:

Years of college, no scholarships, MASSIVE debt, and then still shitty pay, no benefits, and fewer job opportunities. It happens. Consider yourself lucky, but college does not always equal great career.

And if it was rhetorical, ignore that.

"Fewer" job opportunities? Certainly not, if you're comparing having a BA to not having a BA. And pay IS on average better if you have a degree than if you don't.

It's a rough job market, but your scenario is hardly everyone's reality, either.

I did not even suggest that it was everyone's reality, but it is some people's reality. AIRT asked why should they regret going to college, as if they can't imagine a reason why anyone would. So I suggested some reasons.
