We've been a bunch of hot dry days of bushfire quickly followed by severe thunderstorms and tornado warnings. Tornado did not eventuate.

It is now a nice, cool cloudy and slightly wet day. Am crossing fingers from some heavy rain later on when I get back from salvos. Might be hoping to do the ~aesthetic~ thing and sit on the couch sewing while rain trickles down the window. Love the blanketing sound of rain.

It's unseasonably warm. It has been 70 degrees lately with a lot of clouds.

I'm hoping for rain. We're also in a drought and it's gotten to a point where I can't shower regularly at home.

It has been in the 70s today. It was nice until my parents got home from their trip and put the heat on.

It was really hot for most of autumn, but it finally started raining a couple of days ago and probably won't stop until summer, so I can start wearing the season's cardigans! I'll miss my afternoon walks, but I'm happy to huddle by the heater and drink tea at home too.

Snow, Lighning, and Fog.

It's been warm lately. Cooled down today. Torn between being slightly distressed that it's too warm for this time of year and happy to be able to hold onto the heat a little bit longer.

It snowing! Snowing, snowing, snowing! It won't stay, none of it is even sticking to the ground, but I just get so excited when it snows. \o/

I'm getting tired of just kind of changing the subject when people celebrate the unseasonably warm weather. I don't want to go into a rant but I can't agree with them that it's nice. It's not supposed to be like this.

Yes! I don't want to have to wear a tshirt and flip flops in November. It's finally starting to get colder here, and I'm fine with that. Yucky muggy too warm weather for the season can kiss my ass.

Oh I agree, I HATE it. Give me my nice spring weather damnit. I loath summer, it is not promising that it is acting like summer so early.

Yup. Fuck summer, I want winter back.

Amen! It's November now, I don't want it to be in the 60s and 70s anymore. It should be getting cold and we should be preparing for snow, if not already getting it. I want my winter weather!

Southern California has finally gotten the memo that it's fall! Crisp and cool. :)

It's Santa Ana windstorm time. Basically been alternating between days of cool weather (mid-60s F) with cloudy/light rain, and days of warm weather (mid/upper-70s F) with strong winds. Warm and windy here today, but it's been snowing in the mountains which is good!

The last few days have been pretty tame, but we've had some heavy, heavy rain on the weekends the last couple of weeks. Looks like we'll be having it again.

And yet when it isn't raining, it's still hot. SMH. I want cooler weather..

it's getting cold here, a little rain but air temps alternate between 40 and 60 at noon.

Bushfires already? Is Australia even going to be there in a year, or will it be a chunk of char?

I have fond memories of furry trees that resulted from the 2004 Sydney bushfires.

Blah, just warm enough to be muggy and disturbing to my sleep.

Right now we are getting an afternoon rainstorm, complete with a bit of thunder.
