If you don't have a lint roller, or it's not cutting it-- packing tape! We had a lovely long-haired fluff of a cat until recently. His soft kitty bed is perfectly good for the new cats, only got it last year. But there was so much hair in it. I think our cleaning process went brushing it off with a shoe brush, giving it a stick-down with packing tape, washing and drying, and sticky-taping it again. Very much improved, but still some hair on it.
