(Anonymous) 2015-11-07 03:19 am (UTC)(link)Attractive people don't just magically become attractive at 16 or 18 or 20 (though, of course, some people are attractive as adults when they were kinda homely teenagers). A lot of them are pretty children, and then they're beautiful teenagers, and the development from "aesthetically pleasing teenager" into "attractive adult" is a gradual one. I had a friend back in school who was already breathtakingly gorgeous as a teenager. She went on to become a model, but even when we were 14, people just stared at her because she was stunning.
And if you add to that the appeal of an iconic character, the whole idea of "this dude is going to be Batman some day", that just adds to it. (Also, David Mazouz is impressively charismatic for a kid his age. He's definitely someone about whom you can easily imagine that he'll be downright magnetic in ten years.)
