I saw in action one bunch of what I'm going to broad-brush as self-diagnosed, political "autistics." They kept reblogging a post of hers where she talked about her autistic brother and committed what they saw as the horrible sin of acknowledging that not all autistics are at the same level of disability. To them, she was nobody, just someone to be made an example. To those of us who knew her, she was a sensitive teenager.
And she couldn't stop these reblogs about how terrible she was. Tumblr is a terrible interface in that way.
I don't doxx people, but I really wished it were like school-kids when I was her age, and an adult would find those kids, give them a talking-to, and possibly drag them by the ears to where they had to apologise.
But what can you do? They're college kids, of course you can't teach them anything!

I don't know what the hell is wrong with these people?
also that is a fact. Some people with autism are severely effected some not so much. That's why it's called a SPECTRUM.
I hope your friend is doing better.
