The first game has zilch. The only possible slash ship is between the reincarnations of the world's first murderer and the brother he slew, and whatever they feel in canon, it's definitely not romantic love.

The second game has romantic/possessive implications between the main character and the . . . villain, I guess you'd say (more romantic if the MC joins him, more possessive if he's abandoned and tries to kill everyone who "stole" the MC from him.) Then the anime took them up to 11 while also adding more implications to the MC's bond with his cute female friend. I'm indifferent because the villain's social Darwinist ranting pisses me off.
