I had some realizations overnight that weren't comfortable but put me in a better place, I think. I'm ignoring the urge to apologize to her. But having my experienced validated helped a lot last night. Because I didn't feel like I was overreacting.

I think validation is key to healing in a lot of these situations. It's just awful to put up with shit for so long, and to be told you're 'crazy' or 'too sensitive' or otherwise have your feelings/reaction/experience dismissed just makes it worse.

Sounds like things are looking up for you. Good luck with everything.
