My first reaction is: "Wow, someone who hates the Star Wars prequels. Shocking!"

My next is: "Meh".

Not saying the prequels were amazing films that stand the test of time (I haven't watched them in years, so while I enjoyed them enough back then, especially PM, there's every chance I wouldn't find them as entertaining now) or that you aren't allowed to have this opinion, I just...don't know what else to say. I liked them and barely even want to admit to it because the way people react.

That said, I do find the OT to be more solid films, and while they might not look 'shiny and new', I think they're worth a try if you're at all curious as to what people see in SW.
