Most Badass Minor Moments

Not the big epic battle climax at the end of a season/movie/book or anything, but little moments (preferably involving minor characters) that you just found incredibly badass.

The Dragon Ball Z thread reminded me of that moment during the Goku vs Vegeta fight, where Yajirobe just chops Giant Ape Vegeta's tail off with his sword while everyone was looking in the other direction (destroying his ability to transform and immediately forcing him to revert back to normal). It was the best thing ever:

Just played Tales from the Borderland. and while loaded with badass moments like this, Rhys defeating jack by tearing his own body apart was wonderful to watch. Gave me tingles.

The guy in CA:TWS who refuses to launch Project Insight. You go guy! Also the scene where Bucky is thrown off the car and uses his metal hand to stop himself. That was just badass looking.

I love when Dean punches Castiel in S4 and Castiel just turns his head and then gives him a "Really?" face.

I love all of the scenes in Season 5 when Castiel is captured by Lucifer. Though the best is when he uses Meg as a bridge to cross the fire.

In 12 Angry Men when Juror 8 stabs the table with the knife that looks like the murder weapon.

That dude is seriously my favorite character in the movie.

Anderson punching Udina in Mass Effect. All day, every day.

Oh, and Ellie breaking David's finger in The Last of Us. One of the best moments in the game.

The moment at the end of Heroes season 1 when Nathan Petrelli morphs (back) to Sylar. I literally leapt out of my seat when that happened!

Littlefinger, A Storm of Swords: "Only Cat."

One of my favorite moments in movie history: toward the end of The Usual Suspects there's a scene where Agent Kujan is questioning Verbal, and Kujan walks behind Verbal's chair to the other side of him. While Kujan is behind him, the camera is on Verbal's profile, and you see the teeniest, tiniest smile touch Verbal's eyes. When Kujan arrives at his side, the smile is gone. That moment tells you everything, but only if you notice it, and that was the moment in which I fell in love with Kevin Spacey as an actor.

"It tells me that goosestepping morons such as yourselves should try reading books instead of burning them!"

"Don't run! You must never run from anything immortal, it attracts their attention." The Last Unicorn. Yeah, let's do a Michael Bay slow walk away from the snacking harpy like no big deal. Either in text or animation, both are smaller scenes that I love.

Calpurnia running into the street (where the rabid dog is) to warn the Radleys, because they don't have a phone.
