put yoghurt on it, or tofu. both were recommended to me by my gynecologist and midwives, for pain/itch relief and to counter infections. Of course, IF it persists or gets worse, yeah, doctor it should be.

Seconding the yogurt suggestion. But make sure you get plain no sugar added yogurt. Sugar can just make things worse. But for real, it's how I cured the last two yeast infections I got. (Every single damn time after I have to take antibiotics. Such a pain.)
