but... you don't need much? seriously, you can get SO MUCH for so little money when buying second hand, plus, most baby stuff won't even be worn much because they grow out of it so fucking quickly.
I always hit the flea markets when my girl grows out of her stuff and now she has mostly really high quality stuff. It gets harder to find good stuff for older children, though, because they wear them longer and wear them, well, down.
You also may want to ask her first, because I know many couples with babies who get tons of baby stuff from everyone, but would rather have a set of coupons like "I will cook dinner for you" or "I will watch the baby for an hour so you can go have a coffee".
