I'm sorry for laughing, but seriously what? Were you at a gathering for rape victims or at a beauty pageant for 5-year old kids, because I can't picture this happening at any public event?

A college book club. I look too rapey to be allowed to talk about books with women. Meh, I'm over it (I'm not. I'm still pissed off, but showing overt anger about it makes me look worse. Like I'm just pissed off I didn't get to rape my fellow literature fans.)

You probably didn't miss much. If the club members can't handle the way someone looks, I doubt that they would have been able to discuss anything emotionally demanding without a mental breakdown or two.
