What little things have made you happy today or this week?

There have been 3 new chapters from one of my favorite authors including a new chapter to my current favorite fic and one new one-shot of my favorite OTP with one of my favorite kinks that rarely shows up in fics which just came out a few minutes ago and I'm still smiling about and about to read again.

Oh snap, three? That's some nice luck right there. I'm happy for you.

Yup. And it had been a couple months since she'd updated a fic, so it was a nice surprise.

My supervisor at work telling me I did a really good job with something.

Oh, congrats. That's always nice. Good feedback is enough to make most people smile I think.

It's not even little. We finally managed to set up a board game night with some friends (this was like the third attempt) and were playing until 6 a.m. yesterday (it's a holiday here today). It was nicer than I thought it would be. Oh and we had shawarma delivered :)

Those late-night gaming sessions with friends and food are like the best thing ever. And everyone gets all sleepy and silly and it's so relaxing and nice, I love it.

The're the same friends we spent Halloween with, just watching B horror flick and eating. Yay!

This week I met the twins I'm gonna be nannying! They're seven weeks old and absolutely precious beans. One of them got the hiccups on Tuesday and it made my day.

It's mainly been over the past three months, but I get a huge kick when I see actors with toys of their characters. That's just cute to me.

I'm gonna buy the Titansgrave book. :3

I ordered this awesome Darth Vader Christmas sweater from thinkgeek and it came this week and I only wish it was the weekend so I could wear it (I can't really wear it to work, sadly)

I have to give a HUGE thank you to dreemyweird for reccing Rivers of London. I am about halfway thru and I fucking love it. It is exactly what I was looking for when thinking of Urban Fantasy. And the audio version is fantastic!

I procured some more of my rare comics. Just a few more and I'll have the whole set. :)

I got new glasses today, and I look good, if I do say so myself.

The fact that I currently have a purring kitty balled up in my lap makes me ecstatic. God, but I love this little furball.

I completed a crossword puzzle today! Of course, it helps that two questions were "played an astronaut in 'Gravity'" and once you get Sandra Bullock going across the top half the puzzle and George Clooney going across the bottom, you're in a pretty good place.

The chocolate chip cookies I made came out really good and the oven warmed up the house, so that made me and my family pretty happy.

The indiegogo campaign for Indivisible got extended for almost a month! There's actually a chance they might make it now! :^)

I managed to hunt down a primary source for a quote that is relevant to a paper I'm writing! All that came up when I found it was secondary sources that did not mention the primary one, so I felt great when I finally figured out where it actually was from.
