So I'm a cis female in real life, but online I don't like to specify my gender. I'm fairly popular on tumblr so I've been getting a couple of asks about what my preferred pronouns are. What's the best way to address this without giving the impression I'm genderqueer?

I'm tempted to say "any" or "don't care," but I feel like either of those options will come off as dismissive or genderqueer. And if I explain I like to keep my gender anonymous, I don't think that will be taken well.

Nah, I've seen Tumblr being pretty okay with "I'd like to keep my gender anonymous."

Don't say "any" or "don't care", say "confidential!" or "not disclosing that". I think you can flat out say you'd rather stay anonymous. If someone has a problem with that, fuck them, you're not doing anything wrong.

Don't respond to the asks then.

Just flat out don't answer. You don't have to answer every ask.
