My first reaction to hearing about the Paris attacks was to be disappointed that I couldn't brag on my social media accounts about something cool that happened to me today because it would be insensitive. And it's not something I can bring up a few days from now because it's not important enough. It's just a "Hey guys guess what just happened to me!" thing you have to tell immediately or it's weird.
