If you let that guide you, you can't really go anywhere anymore. I was in India at the time of the Mumbai Terror attacks. Was meant to be at Victoria station, even, but I left early because my bff suffered from culture shock and wanted to get out of the city. Probably saved our lives.

But point is we had no reason to believe whatsoever that this would happen, in either case. Yes, you can live in fear, but there comes a point where that's not living anymore. But I'm glad you didn't have to go through that, anon.
