Not the OP, but as someone else who ships it but isn't sure if I wanted them together in the show? I've only seen up to season three (and an episode in season six), becaue I can't get season four or five, they have a really good friend/coworker/confidant dynamic going on, and there are very few ways that the writers would have been able to put them in a relationship without ruining that dynamic, if there was any way at all. At least, that's my opnion.

That's just it -- I don't want to see it on the show, because relationships have no place on the show in the first place, and the two characters in question would never get involved with a coworker.

But daydreaming about after the timeline of the show? Or an AU? I'm all over that.

I love their scenes together. They balance each other out so perfectly. Knowing that the actors have adlibbed much of the humor makes things even better.

And actually, Grace is older than my mother. And older than Boyd. And I still ship it.
