OK but if your friend doesn't know a lot of others on LJ, it's not the same experience for them, whether they make posts there r not. And since it seems like you are still I contact with them, it's not like they need LJ to reach you... I miss the old days on LJ too but I don't post much because there"s not much interaction, the phone app sucks etc.
