Re: Fix a TV show in just one way
(Anonymous) 2015-11-14 11:05 pm (UTC)(link)It's a recurring problem that I know so many fictional couples that go like:
Stage 1: Awesome and promising flirty meeting or UST way before they are ready to become a couple
Stage 2: ?????
Stage 3: Profit in the form of awesome established couple
Which is fine, but I like to see a good Stage 2 as well.
Re: Fix a TV show in just one way
(Anonymous) 2015-11-14 11:21 pm (UTC)(link)IIRC, I think the first one of these that I noticed, was back when I was like...13 or something, Vegeta/Bulma from Dragon Ball Z. Early bits like that Pink Shirt scene were wonderful ship bait, and then I liked their established relationship later on, but the whole "how the HELL would they actually get together" part in-between was totally time-skipped and it was such a missed opportunity that it bugged me even though I was totally watching DBZ for the fight scenes back then.
