Yeah, you're at that point. Ultimately, TXF was (even in its good years) like a Rubik's Cube where you could only ever get one or two sides to be a whole color. In the case of TXF, you could only ever make some of the facts form a coherent theory. But then you'd try to make those facts meet up with other facts, and you'd have to break the coherent theory you'd put together in order to make that other part coherent.

Also, are you saying you haven't watched the first movie yet?!!

Dude, Fight the Future fits into the show's chronology right between S5 and S6. And it sounds like you're in the middle of S6 right now. I mean, maybe you don't really care about that kind of thing, which is fine, but OMG I'm a bit obsessive about watching things In The Right Order, so this is killing me a little.
