The only thing tying that secret to fandom though is that it's addressed to "Fandom Friend". I could write a secret to fandom friend about how much I hate pizza, but that doesn't make it a Ninja Turtle secret.

Eh, I don't know, I think that LJ's ties to the past fandom are well-established, and frequently discussed here at FS, so I don't think it's a stretch to see a discussion about LJ/fandom as a fandom discussion.
