Being the money-grabbing 4th movie in a series that was supposed to be a trilogy tends to make people automatically disregard it.

Yeah, but all the sequels are money grabs, not just the fourth one.

Really as much as the studio wants money Johnny Depp just seems to love playing this role (I heard he even sometimes takes the place of the Jack Sparrow Animatronic at Disneyland, just cause he feels like it.. not sure if that's true).

So I can totally respect that.
