I don't watch Bob's Burgers (though I think I should) but +1 for Vegeta and early!Homer, especially to Lisa. (Later!Homer is just plain bad most of the time though, unfortunately, which wrecks the balancing act of a lot of the humor.)

Also I would like to thank for reminding me that a guy who once used to murder planets for a living is the same guy who takes his daughter shopping while bitching about having to pay for all her junk. This is the kind of thing that makes me happy. XD

I don't know, I think Homer was a pretty good parent to Lisa in the recent canon Halloween episode. (not the THOH)

Well, I did say "mostly." In the early seasons he was a lot better, more on the "hilariously bizarre and embarrassing" side when it came to the nitty-gritty stuff about parenting (but solid on the important stuff) rather than an actually bad father with occasional good moments.
