Considering Bulma's first boyfriend also tried to rob and hurt them (plus Piccolo being a sort of friend), alien mass murderer isn't that weird.

LOL true :D I guess after befriending Actualfax Alien Satan Jr., an evil overlord's goon would seem downright sympathetic by comparison.

This is why I love this show. Almost all the heroes are ex-bad-guys and their entire recruitment/expansion policy is pretty much "lets ask the jerks whose asses we just kicked to help us out" AND IT WORKS.
