I never did see it but I should really stay away from this talk because I'll never get why people hated the third movie so much and it makes me sad, lol.

Same. The third movie dragged a bit in the middle, but it was cheesy in such a grand way and a lot of fun.

I agree with you as well. The third movie was my favourite, though I will never denigrate the first two because I know the story of the third is dependent on them.

Maybe that's one reason why I am unenthusiastic about the fourth, the storyline of the first three was wound up in the third so 4 just felt... unconnected?
