It must depend on how they sit on your torso or the length of your neck or something, because I wear a 36DD and I can't do it.

Maybe? I've got 44DD/DDD (depending), so I'm pretty large. Maybe it also depends on how they hang? I don't know. I have a fairly short torso, but a rather long neck.
