AYRT -- Ooh, I've never seen that movie, in what way do his eyes come into play?

PS. I LOVE Mark Strong's eyes, which is why this whole thing is such an issue for me. :)

I looked at the linked images. I agree, that's a good eye colour, whateer you call it. Then again, I am very biased toward hazel eyes.

AYRT -- MINOR SPOILERS for the "Sherlock Holmes" movie I mentioned

Mark Strong was Lord Blackwood, the main big bad. About halfway through the movie, Sherlock is investigating another noble-type guy (played by James Fox). He notes that this character and Lord Blackwood "have the same irises, a rare dark green... which are only passed down through direct blood line which makes by necessity either brothers or in this case, more likely father and son." So this character confesses he's Blackwood's biological father and sheds some light on Blackwood's backstory at that point, IIRC. (Also IIRC, there was also a nice, lingering close-up on Strong's eyes at this point.)

(I want to say I have no idea WHY that stuck with me as much as it did, but I'll admit it's because I have weird green eyes myself and was interested to see someone else with them get called out in this movie. :D )
