It's basically a lost cause. I have the option of saying I'll go back to it later, but the support network I had for it will most likely not be there anymore, so I dunno.

Well, it's worth a shot if you're really serious about it. At least try to obtain references and maybe pick up where you left off elsewhere?

I dunno. I had to put things on hold for 4 years and start over after an illness, so I know things can seem impossible, but sometimes it's not as difficult as you think to pick up where you left off.

I guess. I haven't like burned any bridges or anything already. Just trying to process and accept fate and maybe wallow a little in utter disappointment.

Are you pretty well back on track now?

Better than back on track. That break made me motivated to accomplish more than I ever thought possible.

I hope everything works out for you, anon. It might seem like the end of the world, but who knows? Maybe not.
