It's next on my Netflix list, but I'm wary of starting it out of concern the TV-MA rating might involve some adult content of the not exactly consented to variety. Can anyone help me out on that front?

Dont worry; all the sex is consensual in sense8! Well... unless I'm forgetting something. The Icelandic woman with blonde hair undergoes some intense manhandling and being beaten up, so I'd suggest ffing her scenes when things start getting violent.

There is some domestic abuse, and one scene where a character recounts being stripped in a locker room as a teen as a form of bullying, but it doesn't go beyond that if I recall (and that scene is not graphically shown, its mostly the character talking). There are several other types of disturbing content but those are the things I would warn you of specifically?
