This. Marriage is such a cheap word these days. Considering the high divorce rate and people who remain in unhappy relationships for other reasons, I don't think being married holds that much meaning.

This makes me really sad :(

Not just that you're saying it, but that a) I think a lot of people agree and b) I think there's a lot of truth to it for a lot of people.

I kind of wish people wouldn't get married unless they really truly meant it. And I wish more people realized what marriage really means. It takes work and it's not always a fairytale.
