Yeah, I don't doubt it's going to take a while to fully shake off those feelings of dread and being on edge. Especially when things are still feeling tense and uncertain in general.

That said, though, I very much admire your attitude about all of this, and I second the kudos for volunteering on your day off. Not only is it a wonderful gesture in and of itself, and a great distraction, but it's stuff like that that will further prove to the terrorists they aren't going to achieve their goals.

I've just been trying hard to remember that most people want what I want: a sense of peace and safety.
