FFVII, Cloud

The Smash Brothers news made me nostalgic, and I want to read stuff about Cloud. I love angst. I also love Cloud being a badass. I'm really not that picky, and I multiship him.
But no non-canonworld AUs, please (unless they get to keep the huge swords/magic).
I seem to have read a lot of the big / popular / commonly recced stuff, but maybe there are some gems I'm missing? I'm not really active in the fandom.
