I'd imagine that some people don't like having their anon posts linked to their username, even if it's just case that would know. Not even trolling stuff, but just things they don't want connected to their IP or username. IP logging's forever so if case's account would be compromised it could be an issue.

Wanting more privacy =/= troll

That's not entirely accurate. I mean, I know Case isn't meticulously comparing every single anon comment to every named comment, but there are some nontrolly things I feel weird having my name on.

You DON'T have your name on anything. Case can't figure out who you are from IP.

what he can do is see if the same trolls are spamming and causing wank, and potentially IP ban someone.
