I really feel like some people forget we're a country and not 50 separate countries. I mean, immigration law being purely federal and the government getting to do what it wants is often a very bad, bad thing. But in this case it is good.

I wouldn't put it past some of these states to actually try something, though. Arizona for one has already tried to make so many anti-immigrant state laws, most of which have thankfully been found unconstitutional. But they keep trying.

Mmhm. Especially considering how resistant some states have been to implement anything the Obama administration's tried to put forward in the past. They'll find some way to blame him for this somehow, if they haven't started already. *Rolls eyes*
