Pretty much everyone is terrible at it in the beginning. Keep practicing.

Agreed. For some reason, when I first got them, the optometrist had to stay with you and supervise you putting them in and taking them out for the first time. The poor woman who supervised me was DYING of boredom. I kept poking at the contact, poking at my eye. Oops, it fell out. Oops, I dropped it. Oops, oops, oops.

I got much better, just took a little practice. Hope it works out for you!
