Realizing that the "Choose Your Own Adventure" style of story isn't super liked...how is it generally accepted in fanfic? I will always be partial to Second-Person POV stories, as that was how I entered fanfic nearly ten years ago, and the stories I happened upon were really well written (I was spoiled; they set a high bar).

I was watching a short documentary on manors and the thought of writing a Turn-of-the-century/Edwardian Era-AU for Harry Potter (Harry will not be a main character, as it will focus on Sirius, perhaps Remus, depending on the adventure you choose, maybe get in on a little Lucius or Draco). Actually, it's quite a bite to chew, if it becomes fully fledged...but yeah...if I ever got around to posting it, it would take some time.

In any case, does anyone
a) have info/links to good websites featuring information on Edwardian/Turn of the Century England (aristocracy/the poor)
b) have an opinion on Choose Your Own Adventure/2nd POV?
