Re: Charlie Sheen - NOT WINNING!
(Anonymous) 2015-11-18 12:19 pm (UTC)(link)I am lucky, the people I work with are fairly healthy. Or they have good support or positive attitudes. I've been fortunate in that the brief amount of time I spend with them, they share a lot with me and they are all very different, but are basically going about their lives.
Re: Charlie Sheen - NOT WINNING!
(Anonymous) 2015-11-18 12:30 pm (UTC)(link)I mean they are currently healthy when I see them. That doesn't mean that they haven't suffered in the past. Depending on how long they've had the virus, they may have been sick off and on throughout their lives. But medication that suppresses it is usually given right away now, so they are generally happier and healthier. But yeah, they still go through a lot of bad stuff, and I think it's horrible to say that they deserve it. It's like saying someone deserves cancer. Some people I've worked with say they behave weirdly, but honestly if I had such a crippling disease I'd be filled with uncertainty and anxiety too.
