How rare are familiars? I want one but I don't know how long it'll take before I come across one or if I should plan on one I buy being my first one once I get enough treasure.

Familiars are actually pretty easy to get (some of them any), and they run fairly cheep in the coli. There are rarer ones that are more expensive. I can send you a few of the cheep ones if you want.

That would be great! I can feel the impulse that led to me collect all the pokemon telling me to get to work on the bestiary on this site now.

Well, some of the things are practically impossible to get (like familiars that only were given out in the first year of FR that cost you a ton to buy now).

Some of the pokemon I have were almost impossible to get too. I spent years on that. I figured filling the bestiary would be something that I shouldn't get my hopes up too high about and definitely not expect to do in the next week or something.
