My account is with BOA. And I had a student account, which meant no fees. Only they changed their rules a year ago so that you could only have a student account if you are under 23. They never notified me. It has never been an issue until the last couple of months because I always either had an at least $250 deposit or at least $1500 in the account. And when I called to complain about the lack of notification, they couldn't remove the charge because "the services had already been rendered."

BOA is literal Satan. Keeping your money under your mattress is better than dealing with their bullshit. They will take every single opportunity to fuck you over.

The only reason I had an account with them is because my parents live overseas, and having a shared savings account with BOA was the easiest way for them to get money to me.

They never sent me anything about it either and I never bothered to read the notifications that pop up since I assumed they were about things that don't apply to me, because I don't have any business with them other than my checking account. It sucks because I've been with them for 11 years now and they wanna pull stupid shit like this, as if they aren't making enough money and as if they want to lose customers, it's also hard because my parents also have them and it makes things easy when I have to transfer money over and vice versa.
