Wellllll, I do think it's possible that for books and movies made a long time ago before people really understood what autism was, it's very possible that some writers may have based their fictional characters on RL autistic people who the writer knew, without the writer actually KNOWING the person was autistic.

But usually yeah, it's pretty hard to do accidentally.
