The reaction to the refugee stuff in America.

idk about, like, hot-button angry, but it has made me frustrated and sad. Especially stupid is the "but we can't even take care of our own homeless and vets!!!" usually coming from people who don't actually want to lift a finger to help our homeless or our vets. >:C

Only thing to make me angry this week.

I saw on the TV walking into the office something about Kansas trying to stall refugees or something and I was like "god damn it Kansas NOT AGAIN"

though I'll be real I wasn't even surprised.

My backwards city is usually bad about this sort of thing, but since we've taken refugees in the past and that's gone pretty well, I've been pleasantly surprised about the reaction.

The whole situation sucks overall though.

The things that have made me angry this week are mostly racist things: all the anti-refugee comments.

Also my socialist friends who want to say that Obama's military strikes and the attack on Paris are the same and don't seem to understand that while I disagree with both, terrorism is a thing and attacking civilians is different.

It's probably stupid of me considering there's really important things going on in the world, but I'm so pissed off over a show I like getting announced that even its second season is getting cut short and the series ended with a movie.

Just like its predicessor series got with its third and final season cut short and ended with a movie.

Just...god dammit Hasbro.

I saw someone who claimed Muslims have never faced backlash. She was completely serious.
