I finally started reading up on all the gamergate bullshit just so I could understand what the fuck everyone was talking about, and during my hunt for unbiased sources of information (which are very, very hard to find), I came across this amazing comedy gold.

The above video is discussing the stupidity of the The Sarkeesian Effect, an up-coming (supposedly) documentary made by a batshit insane white supremacist and some other guy, about how Anita Sarkeesian is Evil Incarnate.

It's a long video, but I think it's worth watching because holy fucking shit. The incompetence! The stupidity! The "I'm not racist but here's why white people are superior" rhetoric! The EVERYTHING! The story behind this The Sarkeesian Effect is the ultimate trainwreck. I haven't been this enthralled by something so baffling and bizarre and idiotic since I read the msscribe story.

However, as much as I'm enjoying the schadenfreude, part of me wants to see this "documentary" actually get made just so I can call up some friends to get roaring drunk and MST3K it.

I get it, you're sick of hearing about gamergate and Sarkeesian. I was sick of hearing about them too before I gave in and decided to get informed on the topic! I'm not even a gamer, so I have no stake in all this!

One of the creators of this 'documentary' is trying to ooze more cash from gators to make ANOTHER documentary, so it's going to be a comedy goldmine for ages to come.

You need to change your worldview. I tend to view these people as buffoons. Their utter failure to achieve basic human decency is funny to me, because it's not hard to not be a shitty person.
