Of course they're not a monolith, but a lot of them do check multiple boxes on that list. Especially very young ones.

I mean, most 4-year olds ARE loud, needy, sort of dirty (unless *you* wash them) and will touch things without permission.

And I don't see it as malice - they haven't really been socialized yet and their brains are still in development. But understanding it doesn't make me want to be around them.

The diversity does become more clear once they get to maybe 8-10, and at that point the also become better at actual conversation.

I'm actually quite good with teens, but the young ones do seem to share a lot of qualities I dislike.
