Here is the real guide. Show up to work bright and early so that the boss thinks you are willing, then "trip" over something when you are out of sight of said boss and any cameras, scratch your forehead a little, and hold a compress with a fake blood capsule to it, comeback to your boss slurring your words and get sent home. Take your kindle or a tablet with a pre-downloaded set of movies in case you get sent tothe ER on your employers insurance, so you can keep entertained. You'll get credit for showing up early and be thought of as a good worker, and not have to work. For the last five years I've been out injured in the first hour and am still thought of as a premium employee. Next year you want a can of vegetable soup and a mug of very salty water, knock them back and go talk up close to the boss.
