What do you guys think of Butterfly and Petal?

I'm so obsessed with these genes I got rid of 15 dragons and bought 4 pairs to gene when they come out. I love the way they look so much. I'm all about the shiny genes, but these come really close.

I love Butterfly and can't wait to see what it will look like on mirrors. I've got this one mirror I've been meaning to give a secondary gene for a while but wasn't sure which would look best. Gonna cross my fingers and hope Butterfly works out for him!

I think butterfly looks really good with iridescent. I'm not sure how it is going to look with other genes, though. I think it would be overpowered by crystal.

I'm going to reserve judgment until I see how they look in the scrying workshop. I'm cautiously optimistic about butterfly, though.

I didn't want to wait because I wanted some pairs ready to breed when they come out. So I picked colors that were among the 14 they showed in the post. Hopefully they look good on other breeds.

I don't breed really anymore. So I basically always have 7-8 pages worth of dragons that are RTB. So that isn't my issue ever. :D

I breed either things that sell well or exalt fodder if I want to exalt. My crystal/facet/glimmer doubles and triples and my poison/toxin babies still sell well.

I breed exalt fodder, which is why I said 7-8 pages instead of 10. :) I just don't find selling other dragons worth the hassle. But good luck to you.

I'm really hoping Butterfly looks great on Faes and Nocturnes. And Wildclaws too.

Then again I'm that weirdo that always says "does this look good on wildclaws?"

I'm hoping Wildclaws, Nocs, and Imps. The pairs I bought to gene are all either wilclaw/coatl or Noc/Imp pairs because those are my favorite breeds right now and the most likely to sell well.

I'm really new to the game, so can I ask, when do they come out? And how do we "get" it? Is it just a matter of buying those super expensive scrolls and then breeding? Or, since I don't think I'll ever have enough money for those super expensive scrolls, checking in the auction house for ones with it? XD

As far as I know, there has been no release date announced.

And, yup, the only way to get them is to buy the really expensive gene scrolls or to buy a dragon from the AH with those genes. And based on past experience, dragons with those genes will be really expensive for awhile too, but if you give it a few months, prices on the dragons will drop.

We don't know yet. Butterfly is coming out soon, and petal sometime later.

There are two ways to get it. One is to buy the scroll and the other is to wait until other people are selling dragons and then buy dragons you like with the gene.
